On
this page you will find design work which is pre the start of Selway
Fisher (Early Designs drawn before 1982). These designs were drawn up on
a small drawing board and are roughly A2 in size (approximately 400 mm x 585mm
(15 3/4" x 23 1/8")).
The originals are ink on tracing paper and
most of them were drawn when I was at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne
studying Naval Architecture & Shipbuilding and some were part of my final
thesis (the three Quarter Tonners).
Most sets of drawings consist of Lines
Plan, Construction Plan, Interior Plan, Sectional Plan and Sail Plan -
some have a 3D sketch too.
If you wish to purchase a set of drawings
you can do so either in printed format or as pdf files (which will be emailed to you.
For printed drawings postage will be added (£2 UK; £5 Europe and £6
US/Elsewhere).
It you want the drawings sent as pdf files
there is a part of the secure ordering system which allows you to let us know -
make sure we have your email address.
Because these designs were drawn several
decades ago, the price charged per set is purely nominal and the plans are
really for those who may be interested in researching a particular type of boat
design for possible future construction.
I have started with a couple of designs
and more will be added in time. |
